EHR4CR Deploying Innovative Clinical Trial Services
Presentation Description / Abstract
The Electronic Health Record for Clinical Research (EHR4CR) project has developed an innovative platform that can connect securely to local, de-identified data extracted from hospital EHR systems across Europe. Services will enable a research sponsor to assess the feasibility of a proposed clinical trial protocol, and provide tools to assist each participating hospital to efficiently identify and contact eligible patients. This platform and services are being launched for Europe-wide deployment and use. Financial modeling suggest the EHR4CR solutions are cost saving with services that appear profitable and sustainable.
