Q. Is it possible to only register for the optional events that occur during conference?

A. It is possible to only register for the pre-conference symposia and optional events.  To do so, go to: http://www.worldofhealthit.org/registration/registration.aspx

Q. I have registered, but have not received a confirmation. How do I get another one sent to me?

A. Please contact The World of Health IT’s official secretariat, MCI Brussels, via e-mail at registration@worldofhealthit.org to request a confirmation letter.

Q.  I have registered, but I’d like to add additional events to my registration. How can I do that?

A. Please contact The World of Health IT’s official  secretariat, MCI Brussels, via e-mail at registration@worldofhealthit.org to modify or update your registration.

Q.  I have registered, but can no longer attend the conference. Can I send someone else in my place?

A. Yes, however the substitute must pay any difference in registration rate based on membership status. Example: If you are a member and they are not, the registration difference must be paid.

Please send the substitute's information in writing to The World of Health ITs official secretariat, MCI Brussels, at registration@worldofhealthit.org.

If the substitution takes place on-site they must bring a letter on company letterhead verifying the substitution.

Q. What is the difference between a Product Tutorial and an Education Session?

A. A Product Tutorial is a presentation that allows exhibitors to educate attendees on the solutions provided by their product or service. They last about 45 minutes during which exhibitors have the opportunity to present a case study presentation before invited attendees. The Product Tutorial theatre is located on the exhibit floor.

On the other hand, Education Sessions are given by invited speakers who discuss various topics in the healthcare industry. During the conference, there are several education sessions running at the same time, but with your attendee badge, you are allowed access into all education sessions.

Q. Is there an age limit at The World of Health IT Conference & Exhibition?

A. Yes, all registrants (including spouses or guests) must be 18 years of age or older to attend The World of Health IT Conference and Exhibition.

Q. Do I need to be registered for the conference before I can book my hotel at The World of Health IT’s rate?

A. No, but it is highly recommended that you register for both your hotel and conference registrations at the same time. After you have registered for the conference, you will be redirected to the hotel registration site. If you would like to reserve a room at another time, you may do so by contacting MCI directly at registration@worldofhealthit.org.

Q. What kind of companies will be presenting at this conference?

A. Presenting and attending will be healthcare professionals, who have the buying power for their organizations- providers, payers, suppliers, policy-makers, and government officials. There will also be clinicians, directors, administrators, informatics professionals, and academicians.

Q. What are E-sessions?

A. E-Sessions offer flexible and individual learning. 20-minute, computer-based sessions allow delegates to view PowerPoint presentations (with synchronized audio) on the latest technology industry topics.

A. All cancellations have to be submitted to The World of Health IT Registrar in writing via fax: + 32 2 743 15 84 or email: registration@worldofhealthit.org.

Registrants unable to attend may send a substitute. If substitute is not a member, the non-member fee will apply. This must be made in writing to the World of Health IT Registrar via fax: + 32 2 743 15 84 or email: registration@worldofhealthit.org.
